Boe-Jigge formed in Gloucestershire out of a passion to forge fresh musical connections. Alice (Cello), Geoff (Mandolin / Guitar), Jen (Voice / Violin), Mark (Harp) and Mike (Percussion) are all experienced composers and performers in their own right, with a mix of folk, jazz, classical, blues and theatre influences, and as part of this new group, they've each brought their own songs, tunes and inspirations, tying together influences ranging from personal family reflections to traditional stories and melodies spanning different centuries from across the world. Boe-Jigge features everything from Latin American parting songs, to ghost tales, to tunes about the joy of a tasty autumnal apple crumble; from Shakespeare to sausages! From their first performance in early 2023, they have consistently delighted audiences with their vibrant, intricate, and good-humoured music.
