The pub is the focal point for a vibrant local community, where you can find morris dancers, folk sessions, vintage car gatherings, CAMRA meetings and much more. Thursday night is our regular Folk Session, with Celtic Folk on the third Wednesday of the month, and the Shifting Sunday Session on the second Sunday.
From September to June, our Fleecey Folk concerts bring outstanding musicians from across Britain and beyond to the intimate surroundings of our historic pub. Expect everything from traditional songs and lively tunes to inventive contemporary folk — with the chance to experience remarkable artists up close.

Fleecey Folk: Eleanor Dunsdon & Gregor Black - Thu 29th Oct 2026, 8pm, £17
Eleanor Dunsdon & Gregor Black are a multi-award-winning Glasgow-based harp and percussion duo blending traditional music with jazz, folk, classical, and electronic influences. Graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, they aim to create a sound that challenges perceptions of the harp and pushes the boundaries of the traditional music scene.
