The bar of The Fleece Inn is without parallel in terms of its overall character.
The low timber beams and welcoming atmosphere take you in as soon as you enter and
most visitors agree "it is very difficult to leave!" For years The Fleece has been noted in particular for the quality of its Real Ale. This results in yearly entries in the Good Pub Guide and awards such as the Camra regional Pub of the Year. The range currently consists of "Hook Norton Best Bitter", Ansells Bitter and "Uley Brewerys Pigs Ear", with at least 2 guest beers in support. In addition to the strong and well kept variety of the real ales we also
offer Carlsberg or Carlsberg Export lagers on draft. For cider drinkers there is the choice of bottled ciders, draft Strongbow, or the remarkable locally produced "Priors Tipple". A comprehensive selection of bottled Belgian Beers are also available. Wine drinkers will enjoy our house wines, drawn from both the New & Old world orders.
